An Adventurous day in Blue Mountain

Updated: Oct 4, 2022

I still remember the day I went to the Blue Mountains for the first time. It was a long wait for me. It nearly took me 3 years to finally summon the willpower and make a plan to visit the Blue Mountains on my day off.

My best friend with me is no less than an expert in being a tour guide. She studied on the Blue Mountains campus and lived there for some time. She was the one who always motivated me to go. She even agreed to join me. So we packed our bags and decided to drive there (even though I hate driving).

We left around 8 am. It was a beautiful sunny day in Sydney. We decided to go to Katoomba straight. We stopped at Sublime Point Lookout. It was such a peaceful place. We looked around and took some photos.

Moving Forward, we went to Blue Mountain's main attraction, The Three Sisters. It did not take long to get there from Sublime Point Lookout. The first thing I noticed upon reaching there was the forest scattered below us as far as the eyes could see. We started our adventure by taking more photos. The view was just magical. We took the path to Three Sisters. It was scary to walk along the cliffs of the mountains. On the way, I noticed the Aboriginal arts and miniature sculptures of animals.

After that, we kept moving on. The stairs were countless and it took us forever to get there. Finally reached the Three Sisters. The sense of achievement, a happy moment. We took more pictures of that beautiful place. Looked around a captured such a great view forever in our memories. Then we began climbing back stairs to the top of the mountain.

Our final stop was The Katoomba Falls. We drove from Three Sisters to Katoomba falls and began our way down the stairs. It was already sunset and the lights were on. It was so beautiful. We stayed there for some time to enjoy the view of the waterfall. Obviously took some more photos and walked around to explore more. We found other attractions as well.

Overall, it was an experience that I will never forget. The warm and peaceful feeling, the nature, mountains, and my best friend with me made this day very made it very memorable for me. I would highly recommend anyone who has not been to The Blue Mountains yet to do themselves a favor and visit this amazing place.
